Find out more about Britain & Co.’s recent external gilding of the clock and storefront at the renowned Tiffany & Co. store in Old Bond Street.

In one of our colder and wetter Autumns, Britain & Co. carried out external gilding works to the storefront, clock and engraved signage of Tiffany & Co. in Old Bond Street.

Working in conjunction with the main contractor, our team applied 23.5ct gold leaf to the shopfront ornament, engraved lettering and clock, along with cleaning the signage and brass metalwork to the exterior of the storefront.

Given the weather, this was one of our more challenging projects over the past few months, not only working against the rain but also the colder temperatures to ensure that the gold leaf could be applied smoothly and without fault.
